<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antireflection film which has an antireflection function from a visible ray wavelength region to a part of an infrared ray wavelength region, thereby suppressing excess temperature rise in a part of the infrared ray wavelength region, and to provide an optical article with the antireflection film. <P>SOLUTION: The antireflection film 1 is constituted of a multilayer film within a range between 8 layers and 22 layers formed by alternately laminating a low refractive index layer consisting of SiO<SB>2</SB>and a high refractive index layer consisting of Ta<SB>2</SB>O<SB>5</SB>on both surfaces of a glass base material 2. The low refractive index layer is formed at an uppermost layer of the multilayer film, optical film thickness of the low refractive index layer formed at the uppermost layer is in a range between 0.28λ and 0.35λ when a designed wavelength is λ=550 nm and optical film thickness of the lower multilayer film except the low refractive index layer formed at the uppermost layer is in a range between 0.02λ and 0.25λ. The antireflection film 1 formed on both surfaces of the glass base material 2 can be used as a protection glass 30 of a lamp apparatus 100. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
