<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protein of an effective and excellently safe antigen against Avibacterium paragallinarum type C bacterium, to provide a method for immunizing a nonhuman animal by using the protein, and to provide a monoclonal antibody suitably usable for preparing the protein, and a hybridoma. <P>SOLUTION: The recombinant protein is produced from a specific base sequence or amino acid sequence, reacts with a monoclonal antibody (MAb)Hpg8C1C produced by a hybridoma of accession number FERM P-21060, is contained in an inactivated whole microbe immune serum of the Avibacterium paragallinarum type C bacterium, and absorbs a serum-specific hemagglutination inhibition (HI) antibody. The method for immunizing the nonhuman animal, especially birds involves inducing a serum-type specific HI antibody titer by subcutaneous or intramuscular administration of the recombinant protein to the nonhuman animal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
