<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control device capable of restraining erroneous determination that an abnormality has occurred, when determining the existence of the occurrence of the abnormality on a sensor for detecting a rotating position. <P>SOLUTION: A crank angle estimating part 320 estimates an estimated crank angle CRK of a crankshaft based on a rotating speed MRN1 and MRN2 of a motor generator. A crank angle variation calculating part 322 calculates an angle variation ΔCRK between continuous two pulses of a cam angle signal CP. When the angle variation ΔCRK is smaller than a minimum angle interval ΔCPmin, it is determined as the occurrence of chattering in the cam angle signal CP, and when first and second condition signals are activated, a mask signal MSK is issued, and an abnormality determining signal FLT is invalidated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
