<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an interpolymer containing an ionic terminal group and having a small and uniform particle size and improved discoloration resistance in combination with improved weather resistance, improved chemical resistance and improved mold releasability. <P>SOLUTION: The production method comprises the emulsion polymerization step of vinyl fluoride and at least one highly fluorinated monomer in water using a water-soluble free radical initiator at a specific temperature under a specific pressure. The vinyl fluoride and at least one highly fluorinated monomer are used in an amount to form an interpolymer containing a polymer unit derived from 10-90 mol% vinyl fluoride and 90-10 mol% at least one highly fluorinated monomer, and the polymerization is carried out in a horizontal autoclave. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
