PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembly method for a rotor which can improve the concentricity between a rotating shaft and a magnet. SOLUTION: In the assembly method for the rotor 3 which is equipped with a columnar rotating shaft 1 and a cylindrical magnet 2 mounted around the rotating shaft 1, an adhesive 6 is applied to at least one of the peripheral face of the rotating shaft 1 and the inner perimetrical face of the magnet 2, and the magnet 2 is mounted on the rotating shaft 1, and they are positioned by a positioning jig so that the axis of the rotating shaft 1 and the axis of the magnet 2 may be aligned, and then, they are taken out of the positioning jig, and the rotating shaft 1 and the magnet 2 whose axes are aligned are put in a thermostat, without being fixed by the above positioning jig, and the adhesive 6 is hardened to fix the rotating shaft 1 and the magnet 2.
