PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective relay device capable of remarkably reducing a time for eliminating a fault such as a ground fault or a short circuit fault generated in a parallel dual power transmission line. SOLUTION: A first power supply end ground directional relay device 10<SB>1</SB>is installed on a power supply end side of an own line 1L of the parallel dual power transmission line consisting of the own line 1L laid between a bus bar of the power supply end side and an opposite end bus bar of the opposite end side and another line 2L. The relay device 10<SB>1</SB>includes a trip signal generating circuit 30 for instantaneously generating a first trip signal S<SB>1</SB>upon determining that a third breaker 4<SB>3</SB>installed on the opposite end side of the own line 1L has been interrupted due to a ground fault in the own line 1L on the basis of a second contact point signals S<SB>C2</SB>as a breaker information of a sound line and a proportion ¾ΔI<SB>01</SB>¾/¾ΔI<SB>02</SB>¾ between an increase quantity ¾ΔI<SB>01</SB>¾ of a first zero phase current I<SB>01</SB>as a fault current of a fault line and a decrease rate ¾ΔI<SB>02</SB>¾ of a second zero phase currentΔI<SB>02</SB>as a fault current of the sound line.
