PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker device improving a harmful effect (deteriorated sound quality) caused by the use of an acoustic material, and enabling sound listening of higher reproducibility including the detail of music, by enlarging a reproduction frequency band of a lower tone portion with a more compact shape. SOLUTION: The speaker device includes a speaker box, having a speaker unit on the front face, and a sound path formed in a bent manner in the speaker box to guide a reproduced sound on the rear face side of the speaker unit. The above sound path is configured to have a smaller transversal area toward the top end. Further, preferably, the above sound path is configured to have a smaller reduction rate of the transversal area as the sound path approaches the top end. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
