PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new alloy which can instantly reach a predetermined high temperature when having been energized, and shows superior exothermic efficiency, superior energization durability and adequate workability, and to provide a resistance exothermic body using the alloy. SOLUTION: The alloy includes at least nickel, indium and titanium so that a mass ratio of (indium)/(nickel) can be 0.001 to 0.2, and a mass ratio of (titanium)/(nickel) can be 0.03 to 0.3.
