PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve device enabling to effectively suppress the self-exciting vibration of a valve element. SOLUTION: The valve device comprises a casing 7 in which flow paths 3, 5, 19 are formed, a valve seat 9 and the valve element 11 for controlling the flow amount of fluid in the flow paths 3, 5, 19, a shaft body 15 for setting the valve element 11 to contact/leave the valve seat 9 provided in the casing 7, and a suppressing part 17 for allowing the movement of the valve element 11 in the direction of intersecting the moving direction of the valve element 11 and for suppressing the vibration of the valve element 11.
