PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for rapidly and accurately detecting hepatitis E virus. SOLUTION: A nucleic acid primer for LAMP amplification for detecting hepatitis E virus is composed of FIP primer, F3 primer, BIP primer or B3 primer and contains either unit of LAMP primer composed of a sequence F1, a sequence F2, a sequence F3, a sequence B1, a sequence B2 and a sequence B3 by selecting at least one from the group consisting of a plurality of specific sequences or complementary sequences thereof and using a successive sequence having≥15 bases in the sequence.
