PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pest control structure that uses an insect trap, which can efficiently trap insects that fly close to floor surface, without requiring troublesome labor, such as, changing of the height position of the set insect trap. SOLUTION: This pest control structure 1 which uses the insect trap 5, comprising a light source 3 for attracting insects and a trapping portion 4 for trapping the insects 2 attracted by the light source 3. The insect trap 5 is disposed at a place close to the opening portion 6 of a room and at a height of about 65 cm or smaller from a floor surface 7, thereby, insects that fly close to the floor surface can be trapped efficiently.
