<p>This invention provides a novel method for converting a kinetic energy, caused by a water phase and an oil phase obtained by interfacial tension of an interface of the water phase and oil phase within a water tank, into an electric energy and an apparatus for the method. A power generation method and a power generation apparatus are characterized in that a coil (7) is disposed in a fixed state on the central part of a cylindrical container (1), and a magnet (6) and a rotator (5) are provided in a fixed state rotatably around the coil, a water phase (2) containing a cationic surfactant dissolved therein and an oil phase (3), which contains a halogen element in dissolved therein and further contains a potassium halide in a saturated state, are disposed in contact with each other, and the magnet (6), the rotator (5), the water phase (2), and the oil phase (3) are moved along the circumferential direction around the coil by allowing interfacial tension acting on the interface between the water phase (2) and the oil phase (3) to repeat a tensioned state and a relaxed state to generate an induction current within the coil.</p> |
