A power switch is provided to improve convenience of use by turning on a lamp according to an operation signal of a main switch outputted when a user pushes a control knob in one direction. A case(10) has a case body(11) buried on a wall(1) and a cover(12) coupled with a front thereof through a cover through hole(12a). A support panel(20) is installed inside the case. A slide panel(30) is coupled with a front of the support panel to be slid vertically or horizontally and elastically supported by a spring. A control knob(40) has a knob body coupled with the slide panel to be slid in a direction crossing a slide direction of the slide panel and elastically supported by a spring and a rotating body rotatably coupled with the front of the knob body and exposed to the front of the case through the cover through a hole of the cover. A main switch(50) is installed inside the case and has a push button(51) inserted into a concave unit of the control knob to output an operation signal when the push button is pushed by an inclined surface of the concave unit. A rotation sensor is connected to the rotating body of the control knob to sense a rotation angle of the rotating body and output angle data. A control unit receives the operation signal and the angle data from the main switch and the rotation sensor. A switch has an input terminal connected to a power line and an output terminal connected to a lamp and supplies or cuts off power to the lamp by being turned on/off according to a control signal of the control unit. The control unit sets an operation time to turn on the switch according to the rotation angle of the rotating body and turns off the switch when the set time passes. |
