摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating machine which matches a situation on actual coating, requires no complicated processing in a decompression chamber and prevents the unevenness of the thickness distribution of a coating liquid film in a width direction of a material to be coated when a coating liquid is applied on the surface of the material to be coated by a coating method of applying while a bead is formed in the gap with the surface of a continuously running material to be coated, a production procedure of a coated material, and an optical film and an antireflection film produced by this production procedure. <P>SOLUTION: The coating machine comprises the decompression chamber which keeps the upstream side decompressed in the moving direction of the material to be coated of a coating head, wherein the decompression chamber is divided into a plurality of chambers in a coating width direction and the plurality of chambers is independently adjustable for the degree of a reduced pressure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
