<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a physical distribution vehicle parking management system at low cost for facilities and installation, enabling parking of only a physical distribution vehicle, without any attending person. <P>SOLUTION: There provided are a specified parking space 2 for disposing goods, including individual parking areas 2A-2C on a road, and barriers 3A-3C for restricting a vehicle to enter each parking area 2A-2C. In a recognition area 4, the entrance of a vehicle is detected from an image of a camera 12. From ID information of an onboard unit received by an antenna 11, a physical distribution vehicle is recognized. The recognized physical distribution vehicle is traced and supervised by an image analysis unit in a control unit 10. On the arrival at a vacant parking area, the barrier of the area concerned is driven to be a state in which vehicles can enter. Further, on the detection of the retreat of the physical distribution vehicle, the barrier of the area concerned is driven to be a state in which vehicles cannot enter, so as to prevent other vehicles than the physical distribution vehicle from parking. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
