<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner with superior reachability of blown air, capable of suppressing surging (flapping sounds and intermittent abnormal sounds). <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioner is provided with a crossflow fan 4, a draft duct 27 comprised of a stabilizer 26 and a rear guider 25, a heat exchanger 3, a blow-out opening 28 blowing out air heat-exchanged by the heat exchanger 3, a vertical blade 29 arranged on the blow-out opening 28 and changing a vertical blow-out direction of the air, and a horizontal blade 10 arranged on the blow-out opening 28 and changing a horizontal blow-out direction of the air. A rear guider 25a of a center part in a longitudinal direction of the rear guider 25 is bent around a bending point 12 to carry out reduction and enlargement of the draft duct 27. A center part of the blow-out opening 28 is formed into a substantially square to improve the reachability of blown air. By reducing the draft duct 27, a static pressure is improved, and flapping sounds can be prevented while minimizing deterioration of air blowing performance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
