PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game board unit and a game machine which enable the dramatic variable display of figures. SOLUTION: The game board unit 10 has a platelike game board 8 with a playing area 8a formed on its surface in which games are achieved with balls 18 flowing down and an overhung surface 38a which is located outside the game board and extended toward the surface 8b from the rear 8c of the game board to display images on it.
