PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holder of a simple structure capable of stably holding a circuit board and a cable, without applying an unintended stress on a connection part between the circuit board and the cable. SOLUTION: The holder holds the circuit board and holds the cable for external connection that is connected to the circuit board. It comprises a holder body equipped with a board placement part on which the circuit board is placed and an engagement part that is provided to one end of the board placement part to engage with one end of the circuit board, for positioning the circuit board, and a holder cover having a board fixing part for pinching the other end of the circuit board with the holder body.
