PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk in which a slide show conforming to a user operation can be performed. SOLUTION: A Browsable Slide Show is recorded on a BD-ROM. The Browsable Slide Show is constituted of a video stream, a graphic stream, an audio stream, and PlayList information. The video stream and the audio stream are recorded on separate areas on the optical disk. When a browsing unit is read from the optical disk, state information in the graphic stream indicates that memory management for displaying graphics is started by a reproduction device by clearing stored contents of a coded data buffer.
