PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aldehydes collector, wherein a woody plate manufactured by using the aldehydes collector has an excellent appearance, in the aldehydes collector used by adding and dispersing in a woody material or in a formaldehyde based adhesive when the woody plate is manufactured by using the woody material and the formaldehyde based adhesive. SOLUTION: A powder aldehydes collector comprising at least one kind of compound for the aldehydes collector which is solid at ordinary temperature has a mean particle diameter of the whole powder of≤1,000μm. Although there exists a difficulty on handling as the particle diameter of the powder is small, when such a fluidity improving agent as carbonic acid compounds, silicic acid compounds and metal soaps covers the outermost surface of each particle, handling easiness in manufacturing, preservation and use is improved.
