PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which is useful for quickly coping with a jamming phenomenon caused at an impact position in a driving work tool for carrying out the driving work of a driving material to a material to be worked via an operation member. SOLUTION: A nail driving tool 1 to be used as the driving work tool is configured so as to have a releasing mechanism for applying a force to a driver 21 toward a waiting position side independent of the energizing force due to a winding mechanism so as to eliminate the jamming when the driver 21 has jammed at the driving position against the energizing force due to the winding mechanism in driving nails n.
