PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceiling clothes-drying device in which a clothes-drying part can be lifted up when not in use, can be neatly stored in a storage part provided on the ceiling, and which easily allows clothes to be dried indoors. SOLUTION: In the clothes-drying device which is installed on the ceiling and has a drying part, an elevating means, and an operating string, the clothes-drying part 9 rises and falls by the elevating means. When the clothes-drying part 9 is not used, it rises to the ceiling S and is stored; when used, it falls and grip parts 11 are provided at lower ends of operating strings 61 and 62. The grip parts 11 and 12 are pulled by elastic force of a spring and are stored in a grip part storage recessed part 21 provided on the ceiling S when the clothes-drying part 9 is not used.
