<p>A material for covering ground or roofs is made from 10 to 25% by wt. of thermoplastic material with various aggregates such as grit, sand, wood or glass wool. Better technical properties are obtained than with concrete or brick. Coverings for soil, roads, aerodrome runways, roofs, and for construction of building and tunnels usually made in concrete or brick. The mixing is carried out at a temperature above the m.p. of the thermoplastic material, and the mixture is laid in place while hot. The types of thermoplastic plastics materials suitable for use are not named.</p> |
