PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell injection apparatus that readily carries out implantation operation of a micropipette with respect to cells. SOLUTION: Cells CL moved in a feed route 1a are surely captured in a fixed implantation position, by driving a cylindrical part 2b to a first position by an actuator 2c, and further a micropipette MP inserted via an inlet route 1b is readily implanted in the captured cells CL. Sure implantation of the micropipette MP can be performed, especially so as to retain the cells CL by two cylindrical parts 2a. When the cells CL are adsorbed on the bottom of the feed route 1a, the cylindrical parts 2a are brought physically into contact with the cells CL, and the micropipette can be surely moved inside the feed route 1a.
