PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a greening construction method suppressing rise of a temperature in a vehicle caused by sunbeam, and joining planted trees to a vehicle so as to decrease cooling heat load, reduce CO2 emitted from each vehicle and decrease noise, lightweight and easy to attach, preventing planted trees from falling down and scattering, and safe and gentle to the environment. SOLUTION: This greening construction method comprises laying a water-absorbing mat body which has root preventing and water storing functions along a vehicle roof part, and putting on the water-absorbing mat, a planting mat body on which shrubs are planted through a tree fixture and a planting mat body on which lawn is grown, covering the surroundings with a belt-like magnet belt so as to prevent wind from coming into the lower part of the mat body, covering the whole with a lattice-like net with an edge rope followed by sticking a hook-and-loop fastener to the periphery, bonding the hook-and-loop fastener and the edge rope together through a bonding band, and fixing the planting mat body on which shrubs, flowering plants and lawn are planted to the vehicle roof part.
