UNIT FOR REDUCING OF OXIDE-CONTAINING ORES IN FORM OF PARTICLES

The invention relates to metallurgy and concerns to a unit for reducing of oxide-containing ores. The unit comprises a chamber for drying of starting raw material with gas being charged from a smelting reactor. The dried ore and coal are separately transported by two air tube conveyor lines. At the outlet of each line a cyclone with a memory hopper and means for supply of starting raw material are installed in a plasma smelting reactor. The pipeline of charged gas between a cooler and the smelting reactor is made of individual mutually perpendicular pieces of pipes, on end section of each of them a glass is installed. A number of cyclones with the memory hopper and means for supply of starting raw material corresponds to a number of plasmatrons, installed in the smelting reactor.
