The vehicle (1) has a flap (2) e.g. rear flap, for an entrance to a vehicle inner area (11). A sensor (3) determines an opening position of the flap and supplies an appropriate sensor signal (31), by which the vehicle inner area is controllable depending on a sealing element of an air duct (41) connecting with a vehicle environment. The air duct is assigned to a heating and/or fresh air suction device, and the sealing element is controllable such that the air escapes from the vehicle inner area over the air duct during closing of the flap.
