A structure for a lower housing for an air cleaner is provided to improve the external appearance and to prevent deformation of the lower housing by forming a lower housing for storing water inside in a double structure. A structure for a lower housing for an air cleaner comprises a main body, an upper housing, and a lower housing(300). The main body whose upper/lower surfaces are opened has a discharge hole formed along the side periphery. The upper housing, whose upper surface has an intake hole and lower surface is opened, is installed at the upper part of the main body. The lower housing whose upper surface is opened to store water is placed at the lower part of the main body. The lower housing consists of an inner case(310) storing water inside, and an outer case(320) forming a space with the inner case. A cover part(313) is protruded along the upper periphery of the inner case to cover the space between the inner case and the outer case.
