A display capable of enhancing display quality by exhibiting such an action effect that color separation between subpixels constituting a pixel becomes difficult to recognize and the subpixels are apt to be recognized as one white line when the color reproduction range is enlarged by an image display employing multiple primary colors, and a liquid crystal display comprising that display. An image is composed of pixels each including subpixels of four or more colors per pixel in the display, and pixels constituting the display principally comprises those pixels each containing a subpixel having the highest luminance and arranged in the central region of that pixel.
