<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To edit image data for printing without degrading the image quality of printed image even when the editing resolution of an image data editing device, which edits the image data, is different from the printing resolution of a printer. <P>SOLUTION: The image data editing device 2 for editing the image data to be printed by the printer 3 comprises: a resolution acquisition means 81 for acquiring the resolution of the printer 3; an editing image display means 82 for generating a matrix M corresponding to the acquired resolution and displaying the matrix M as the editing image of the image data; and a detailed image editing means 83 for editing the image data by a dot unit utilizing the matrix M. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
