<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing rare earth-iron-nitrogen-based magnet powder for a bond magnet having excellent thermal stability and high magnetic properties, and to provide rare earth-iron-nitrogen-based magnet powder obtained thereby. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing rare earth-iron-nitrogen-based magnet powder for a bond magnet is characterized in that rare earth-iron-nitrogen-based magnet coarse powder is subjected to wet pulverization in a phosphoric acid-added organic solvent having a dissolved oxygen content of ≤0.3 mg/l, next, solid-liquid separation is performed, thereafter, the separated fine powder is heated and dried at ≥150°C (as the organic solvent, the one beforehand subjected to bubbling is preferable). Also disclosed is rare earth-iron-nitrogen-based magnet powder for a bond magnet obtained by the production method and whose surface is coated with a phosphate film (the one in which the damping factor of coercive force is ≤4% is preferable). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
