PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a polyimide film improved in surface adhesiveness and having a cleaned surface. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the polyimide film including a process for casting a liquid containing polyamic acid and/or polyimide, a drying process, a heat treatment process and a taking-up process in a roll form, the film drawn out of a heat treatment oven is fed through a space with an environment temperature of 0-100°C for 2-25 min in a state that both sides of the film are opened during a period from taking up the film in a roll form until subsequently taken up in the roll form.
