PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device capable of surely deviating from the route, at a previously intended spot for deviating from the route, on a recommended route. SOLUTION: If an intersection 23 is designated as a spot for deviating from the route, a route deviating mark screen is displayed; and by selecting the deviating mark displayed on the take away mark selecting screen, the deviating mark 31c is selected at the spot of deviation, then the deviating mark screen is displayed at an intersection 22 on a map 20. After that, if the vehicle approaches the intersection 22, the user can recognize to perform deviating at the intersection 22, since a deviating mark 31c is displayed on a display monitor 16.
