PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the matter of a device for displaying data from an externally connected personal computer on a display monitor under a state where the display monitor is connected with a stand otherwise displaying a broadcast program that since displaying a high-definition video image of a digital broadcast or the like is not assumed, power consumption is big if the high-definition video image is displayed by radio and thereby it can be viewed/listened only for a short time. SOLUTION: This inventive technology displays a high-definition video image on a display monitor when the display monitor is connected with a stand otherwise performs image conversion (from HD video image to SD video image) on the stand side and displays a video image of standard definition transmitted by radio on the display monitor.
