PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize an electromagnetic contactor. SOLUTION: This electromagnetic contactor is provided with a drive part 1, fixed contacts 21-23, and moving contacts 31-33. The drive part 1 has a moving member 11. The moving member 11 can move in a path L along a direction 91 both in the direction 91 and a direction opposite to it. The fixed contacts 21-23 are arranged on a direction 92 side vertical to the direction 91 with respect to the drive part 1. The moving contacts 31-33 are arranged along the direction 91 with respect to the fixed contacts 21-23, and separate from and contact to the fixed contacts 21-23, respectively, by movement of the moving member 11.
