PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base-isolated house in which a column material can be stably erected by installing a temporary level-adjusting fitting on reinforced concrete as a foundation of a steel-framed house and temporarily placing and installing a horizontal beam on the temporary level-adjusting fitting, and a construction method for the base-isolated house. SOLUTION: Characteristically, the temporary level-adjusting fitting 5 is installed on the reinforced concrete 3 as the foundation of the steel-framed house; the horizontal beam 12 is temporarily placed and installed on the temporary level-adjusting fitting 5; and the column material 14, the lower end of which is provided with a moving portion 2b of a base-isolating device 2, is erected on the end of the horizontal beam 12 in such a manner that the moving portion 2b and a retainer portion 2a of the base-isolating device 2 provided on the reinforced concrete 3 come into contact with each other, and fixed to the end of the horizontal beam 12, so as to form an upper skeleton of the base-isolating device 2.
