PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copper alloy in which the content of selenium is lower than the detecting limit and the using quantity of bismuth is suppressed and the content of lead is within the range to be mixed as impurities, the castability and the mechanical property of which are almost equal to those of the conventional lead-used alloy CAC406, and which is applicable to a member for city water supply works. SOLUTION: The copper alloy, in which 2.0-5.9 wt.% tin, 3.1-5.0 wt.% nickel, 5.0-10.1 wt.% zinc, 0.5-2.0 wt.% bismuth, 0.009-0.15 wt.% phosphorus and the lower than the detecting limit of selenium content,≤0.2 wt.% lead content,≤0.01 wt.% silicon content and the balance copper with impurities, are contained, is manufactured.
