PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure a protein and a peptide high-sensitively, accurately, and high-precisely. SOLUTION: A quantity determination method determines a ratio of a modifying group in a target protein to add the group to a sample containing the target protein. Then, the sample is sufficiently purified, and the ratio of the modifying group is measured by a mass spectrometry. Thus, an amount of target proteins in the sample is determined.
