PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration damping washer which can easily assemble bolt fastening structure without damaging a vibration damping effect of the vibration damping washer when vibration is prevented from propagating between plate material and its attaching portion in such a way that the bolt axle is pierced through a hole opened in the plate material, that a periphery of hole of the plate material is pressed by a lower jaw of bolt head, and that the vibration damping washer is assembled in the bolt fastening structure with the plate material attached. SOLUTION: The vibration damping washer is characterized in that a bolt piercing hole of the vibration damping washer is profiled in a tapered hole in which the diameter is enlarged toward the bolt head, and in that a smaller diameter end of the tapered hole is made to contact with the whole circumference of the bolt axle.
