PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile crane capable of achieving high work efficiency in an assembly process, facilitating conveyance and assembly of components when they move among processes, and facilitating assembly and disassembly even when moving the whole crane to a remote place. SOLUTION: This mobile crane 1 is provided with column bodies 2 erected in four corners, beam bodies 3, 4 connecting upper parts of the column bodies 2 mutually, elevating means 8 for object to be conveyed suspended from the beam bodies 3, 4 and running and moving freely in two substantially orthogonally crossing directions within a horizontal plane, wheels 9 provided in each leg part of the column bodies 2, and a rail 10 for guiding the wheels 9.
