PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-refill writing utensil housing six pieces or more of writing elements inside the barrel, featuring that the diameter of the barrel need not be enlarged much and the position of a clip on the barrel is not restrained when the clip is fitted. SOLUTION: This multi-refill writing utensil incorporates a feeder mechanism constituted of a cam groove formed in the wall surface of the barrel, a knocking element with a cam surface on the tip and a rotary cam element with a cam receiver part to be engaged with the cam surface, at the rear end of the barrel. In addition, a rotary manipulator which can rotate to the knocking element, is arranged on the knocking element. Further, a push rod, having an engagement protrusion, which is rotatable interlocked with the rotary manipulator, is connected with the forward part of the rotary manipulator. Besides, an inner cylinder having a circular protrusion, in a part of which a notched groove is formed, is arranged on the outer ring of the push rod, and the engagement protrusion is fitted into the notched groove. The writing elements are each housed in compartments formed in a sliding case retaining the inner cylinder, and an insertion part arranged on a slide fitted to the rear end of the writing element, is inserted into the engagement protrusion and the circular protrusion.
