The invention relates to a sedan-type three-body vehicle that can be converted into a vehicle with an upward-opening skip. The vehicle includes a passenger compartment (2) and a trunk compartment (4) separated form the passenger compartment and defined by a floor (5) and two side flanges (6). The trunk compartment (4) is fitted with a removable casing (10) that can be turn over between a trunk compartment (4) closing and covering position in the sedan configuration, and a trunk compartment (4) opening position in which said compartment (4) is extended in an upward-opening skip configuration.
