The seat (2) has a seat part (4) and a supporting leg (6), which is directed at the seat part pivotable around a pivot axis and is directed to a motor vehicle base pivotable around another pivot axis. The seat is movable from a position, in which the seat part is lifted, to another position, in which the seat part is lowered, by pivoting the supporting leg around the pivot axes. The supporting leg is arranged displaceable to the seat part. A guide (22) for the supporting leg is provided at the seat part, and a support bar (24) supports the leg in the former position of the seat.
