<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism capable of transferring image data transmitted to an image communication device which is not an original destination to an image data being the original destination. <P>SOLUTION: When an image communication device having recovered from an error state receives a polling request (F40) through a server device (F41), it is decided whether data addressed to the image communication device having recovered are stored. When it is decided whether data addressed to the image communication device having recovered are stored, it is reported that the data addressed to the image communication device having recovered are stored (F43).
