<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fault location system capable of securing locating time (the time from the occurrence of fault to output of the locating result) equivalent to a terminal device of one series by efficient data transmission, in the fault location system including one series (one unit) of location arithmetic processor and a plurality of series of terminal devices. <P>SOLUTION: The fault location system includes: a plurality of terminal devices to which information on a power system is input, which detect a fault in the power system on the basis of detection of information, and which are constituted so as to transmit fault data related to the fault in the power system and disposed under the plurality of series; and a fault location apparatus which receives the fault data from at least one of the plurality of terminal devices and has a function to perform fault location arithmetic processing. The terminal device includes a priority series setting means for setting a priority series for the fault data to be transmitted and a transmission regulation means regulating the transmission of the fault data on the basis of the setting in the priority series setting means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
