PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the frequency of exchanging a cushion sheet, to accurately position the cushion sheet in the direction of width, and to feed the cushion sheet just for an accurate amount. SOLUTION: An electronic component crimping apparatus comprises a backup tool 2 supporting a substrate 60 on which an electronic component 65 is temporarily crimped via an ACF tape 63, a sheet feeding unit 11 for feeding a cushion sheet 10 onto the electronic component 65 temporarily crimped on the substrate 60, a pressurizing unit 1 which presses the cushion sheet 10 onto the electronic component 65 to mainly crimp the electronic component 65 onto the substrate 60, and a sheet take-up unit 12 for taking up the cushion sheet 10 pressed onto the electronic component 65 by the pressurizing unit 1. One of a combination of the sheet feeding unit 11 and the sheet take-up unit 12 and a combination of the backup tool 2 and the pressurizing unit 1 is made movable orthogonally to a take-up direction of the cushion sheet 10 with respect to the other combination.
