PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly update display information displayed on a client device according to the processing state of a processing execution part. SOLUTION: The server device 40 comprises a providing part for providing display information for the state of the processing execution part in response to a display information request; an update part for updating the display information for the state provided by the providing part according to a change in state of the processing execution part; and a report transmitting part for transmitting an update report for the display information to the client device 10 according to the update of the display information by the update part. The client device 10 comprises a display control part for transmitting the display information request to the providing part and controlling screen display of the display information acquired from the providing part in response to the display information request; and an instruction part for instructing, upon receipt of the update report for the display information from the report transmitting part, transmission of a display information request corresponding to the display information to the display control part.
