PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photo-curable resin, which makes it possible to form a coating film having good ability of forming a fine uneven pattern and other processing suitabilities before curing and having post-curing physical properties (particularly, heat resistance and durability after curing) excellent in strength, hardness, heat resistance, durability, flexibility, and other properties, a photo-curable resin composition containing the resin, a method for forming the fine uneven pattern using the resin composition, and transfer foils, optical products, and stampers produced using the resin composition. SOLUTION: The photo-curable resin is provided, in which a polymer (a) containing a hydroxy group-containing constitutional unit in its main-chain backbone and a polymerizable compound (c) having at least one hydroxy group and one photo-polymerizable functional group are bound via an isocyanate compound (b) having at least two isocyanate groups.
