PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly maintain a neutral position of a load holding device irrespective of elongation of a rope body. SOLUTION: This crane is provided with the revolving device 31 having a pushing and pulling device 32 winding four elevating ropes 22A, 22B payed out from a winch drum 24 of a crab carrier 18 around four running blocks 26A, 26B in four corners of a spreader 23, pulling them out to a crab carrier 18 side to suspend them, pushing and pulling a pair of elevating ropes 22A for revolving pulled out of two running blocks 26A at diagonal positions of the spreader 23, and revolving the spreader 23 around a vertical axis. This crane is also provided with a revolving operation device 40 having a revolving operation lever for driving the pushing and pulling device 32 to revolve the spreader 23, a neutral operation button for driving the pushing and pulling device 32 to bring the spreader 23 to a neutral position, and a neutral setting button for setting the neutral position again by storing the values detected by an angle detector 38 for detecting pushing and pulling positions of the elevating ropes 22A for revolving.
