VIBRATORY METHOD FOR MEASUREMENT OF CROSS ARBITRARY LIMIT OF STRENGTH

Method for determination of conventional strength boundary of wood at compression across fiber in radial and tangent directions that uses loading unit equipped with means for measurement of force. Testing is carried out at effect of two components of load: permanent and variable ones; value of variable deformation is controlled by means of indicator and conventional strength boundary is determined by increase of value of variable component of deformation.
